Working with Unit Systems

Adaptive Parts Environment (APE) is designed to be very cautious with Unit Systems, as it's a very essential part of the design process and precision of your final adaptive block.

Adaptivity to Rhino3D Units

By baking your final Adaptive Part to any Rhino3D file, the Adaptive Part stores the unit system of it, if any changes happen afterward to the units you'll get a warning message with an option to update the scale of your adaptive part to the new unit system.

You can also use the Rhino Command ApeScaleToUnits to update your adaptive block with the new unit system in the Rhino3D file. For more details on how to use the Rhino3D command please check the article "Rhino Commands".
