Adaptive Parts Environment (APE) is offering its tools for all users to generate their own adaptive blocks in subscription-based licensing plans, after installing the plugin you need to choose your desired licensing option. All our license options can be purchased as a rental license for one year, and also as a perpetual license except the educational option.
Types of Adaptive Parts
Light AdaptivePart
Lite AdaptiveParts are limited in their functionality and size, you can create them only by:
- Using a maximum of 60 standard Grasshopper components.
- Using only one input.
- Avoid using scripting components.
- Avoid using clusters.
- Avoid using third-party plugins.
- Licenses can manipulate it: Designer, Creator, Educational, Lab and Free
- Licenses can create it: Creator
Regular AdaptivePart
Regular AdaptiveParts are unlimited in their functionality and size, you can create them with any number of Grasshopper components and any number of inputs.
- Licenses can manipulate it: Designer and Creator
- Licenses can create it: Creator
Types of License Options
Creator License
The Creator License is the one to go when you want to develop AdaptiveParts for yourself, for your colleagues and to share with other designers. You can manipulate and create Adaptive Parts without limitations.
Designer License
The Designer License is for users who would like to improve their workflows but have no clue about grasshopper. You can manipulate any AdaptiveParts generated by a Creator license user.
Free License
The Free License is for users who want to see updated Metadata within AdaptiveParts and manipulate Lite Adaptiveparts or Corporate AdaptiveParts.
Educational License
The Educational License has the same functionality as the Creator License with a reduced price, you can use this license commercially and it requires proof of evidence.
Educational Lab License
The Educational Lab License provides 30 educational seats for universities, schools and research institutions.
