To Update the current Version of the Adaptive Parts Environment, use Rhino's Package Manager

Current Package Manager Issue

Due to a bug in Rhino's package manager, you might get an Error Message when upgrading or uninstalling the Plug-In through the Package Manager. This bug will be fixed within the next few service releases of Rhino. Until then, you will need to follow the following steps:

  1. Open the Plug-In Manager through the "PackageManager" command
  2. Disable the Plug-in
  3. Open the Package Manager
  4. Install the Update
  5. You be asked to restart Rhino - go ahead and restart
  6. After restart, open the Plug-In Manager again and enable the Adaptive Parts Environment Plug-In

Alternatively, you can use the Windows Command Line to uninstall and reinstall

  1. Close Rhino
  2. Open the Windows command line by typing "cmd" into the windows search field
  3. Copy, paste & execute the following
    "C:\Program Files\Rhino 7\System\yak.exe" uninstall AdaptivePartsEnvironment
  4. Start Rhino and open PackageManager
  5. Install latest release of AdaptivePartsEnvironment
