Does the Adaptive Parts Environment run on Rhino Mac?
We're planning on supporting Rhino3D for Mac in the near future. However, currently we don't have a mac supported version.
Cannot load Adaptive Parts Environment from Food 4 Rhino
You can download Adaptive Parts Environment (APE) from food4Rhino using this link. In some cases, the link provided in food4Rhino does not work properly. This often happens with Rhino 6. In some cases an Error Message this Error Message is shown.
data type is not valid (rhino://package/search?name=AdaptivePartsEnvironment)
To avoid this please follow these steps:
- Run _PackageManager command on your Rhino version.
- Rhino7: Type _PackageManager in the command line.
- Rhino6: Type _testPackageManager in the command line. The command is hidden and will not autocomplete. The Package Manager on Rhino 6 might take up to one minute until it displays the plug-ins.
- Type “Adaptive Parts Environment” in the search bar.
- Press Install.
- After installation is complete, you will need to restart Rhino
